Our Cancer Year - Followup

The report came back from the doctor. It's not cancer and it's not AIDS. Apparently the issue looked enough like an auto-immune problem that they checked. Where do we go from here? Another specialist to see if it's an infectious disease.

When you put it that way, it's still a scary proposition, but it's not cancer. Heather told me and I started to cry. Relief flooded into me and I just let go. I hadn't realized I was holding my breath.

Today is a good day, because it's not cancer. Today is a good day because we have hope and the future and so long as we have those, we are invincible.
