Words from the past

Today I picked up my copy of The Book of Five Rings, when you feel like you are losing a handle on your life, it is good to listen to Musashi. The Kensai was very smart.

But in the front of the book, there was a note written by me, to me, from 11/2/1996.

"Never forget why you hold this book,
Never forget to whom you gave your first copy,
Never forget your pain and hurt,
Never forget that you were a fool,
We will never forget, we will never be that
foolish again, will never hurt like that again.
Never forget.

*kanji for disorder* Brian 11/2/96"

And, of course, I did, I was, I am.
